At present 28 men’s teams, 10 old boys teams and 20 women’s teams are registered for this year’s sevens.This means that more than 150 matches will be played during the weekend 8-9 August. 20 referees, mostly English and Danish, will monitor the matches to be played on 5 pitches.

At the clubhouse the staff of volunteers are working on the final preparations for receiving the many players, officials, and supporters to make the weekend unmatched.

The summer in Copenhagen is unfortunately not impressive. But the long term forecast says about 20°C and it does not include rain — or snow, hail, thunder,…

All team managers have received the team registration form by email. This should be returned to the organizers no later than Saturday August 1.

On the day of the tournament August 8, all team managers meet in Speed’s clubhouse at 10.30 for briefing. Matches on Saturday will be played in pools of 4 or 5 in the time span 11.30 to 20.00. The old boys tournament is completed on Saturday with the final about 19.30.

On Sunday matches will be played from 9.20 in Cup, Plate and Bowl tournaments for Men and Women.  The finals will be played from 13.00 to 16.00.
