The sevens was completed  by two close cup finals between the best teams in the tournaments. In both cases last year’s winners could not retain the title.

The women’s cup final between Susie’s Saloon and Jesters Women was won by the Jesters after a late try in the second half gave them a 24-17 lead.

For the men it was even closer. The Ramblin Jesters led by half time, but the Nanok Sevens reached a 14-14 draw, so the match went into extra time, in which the Nanok’s got the deciding try.
